Man Utd added more star power to their squad over the summer and has been reaping the early rewards. The Red Devils are one of five teams still unbeaten after four games and lead the table with three wins and a draw, ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool by virtue of goals scored. Man Utd has scored 11 goals across their four games so far, having started the new campaign with a 5-1 thrashing of Leeds at Old Trafford. A draw with Southampton followed by Man Utd entered the international break with a 1-0 win over Wolves.
There was another big win on their return, with Man Utd beating Newcastle 4-1 last weekend but they were shocked by a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League on Tuesday. The Uruguay striker could return to main first-team training next week, but will definitely miss the West Ham trip. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is free to feature as his Champions League suspension does not extend to the Premier League.
