Oman Vs Scotland, Match Preview
The context of this match will have been decided on the match preceding the fixture. If Bangladesh gets past PNG, Oman will need to win against Scotland to go to the Super 12s. A win will be enough for them due to their superior’s net-run-rate. In case Bangladesh lose, Oman will go through along with Scotland.
Both sides are in good form coming into this game. Scotland beat Bangladesh in the second game, to open up the group. They leave Bangladesh in a tough spot and have made the group more entertaining. They looked comfortable against PNG as well, but a comeback from PNG made the game look closer. The fightback could come back to haunt Scotland as they struggled to close out the game and secure a higher net-run-rate.
Oman is also looking good so far. They hammered PNG with ease in their first game, and almost upset Bangladesh. They dismissed Bangladesh for 153, and got off to a flyer in their innings. Half-way through the innings the target was still achievable. However, the inexperience of Oman showed as they lost wickets in clusters, and fell short. A win could have made things easier for them as they would have confirmed a place in the Super 12s.

Oman Vs Scotland, Players to Watch out for
Kyle Coetzer
The 37-year-old skipper comes in with a World of experience. Coetzer was a part of both games in the World Cup, but still hasn’t found a way to get going. He made six in two games, and will hope to turn his fortunes around ahead of the Super 12s. His leadership has been good, and some runs will do a world of good to his confidence.
Bilal Khan
Khan is looking good in the World Cup. In two games he has taken five wickets, and his pace is looking effective. His accuracy has improved, and his yorker is working nicely. A good spell from him could be the difference between qualification and elimination for Oman
Oman Vs Scotland, Pitch Report
The surface has helped the slower bowlers so far. There is reasonable bounce with the odd ball keeping low. Batting first is a better choice as the results also suggest. Runs on the board are crucial and a decent score should determine the game.
