Namibia Vs Scotland, Match Preview

Both sides have caused some upsets and made the current stage with a lot of heart. Scotland beat Bangladesh, and Namibia beat Ireland, and Netherlands to get to the Super 12s. They came against all odds, and will now face off against each other.

Scotland came into the Super 12s unbeaten, but had their streak broken by a side that recently got Test status. They were hammered by Afghanistan, in a match full of records. They now have a run-rate of -6.50, and have loads of ground to cover.

Both sides will see the fixture as their best chance to score two points. With three subcontinent teams and New Zealand, the group is going to get tougher for them. They do have chances for an upset, but the next fixture is a clear shot for either to get on the board.

Namibia Vs Scotland, Players to Watch out for

David Wiese

David Wiese is in brilliant form. He is winning games for Namibia on his own, and has carried his side into the Super 12s. The all-rounder is contributing with both facets, and making his presence felt. With tougher sides coming up, he is going to be a key player. Wiese has the quality to take on big sides, and he will like to show it soon.

George Munsey

In the first round, Munsey looked in good touch, but hasn’t kicked on to get a big score. He will want to bat deeper, and take the game close, making use of his timing and ability to find the middle of the bat.

Namibia Vs Scotland, Pitch Report

The surface has some assistance to the fast bowlers. Being an evening game dew will be a factor, making it easier to bat in the second innings. The ground has large boundaries, but the dew factor will prompt captains to chase if they win the toss.
