The most recent game between the Strikers and the Melbourne Stars was a close one. When given the opportunity to bowl first, the Adelaide Strikers bowlers failed to contain players like Stoinis and Joe Clarke as the Stars amassed a massive score of 186-7.

Wes Agar claimed three wickets, and Henry Thornton added two more to his total. As the Strikers lost their top batters, Matthew Short and Chris Lynn, quite cheaply, the chase got off to a rocky start.
