The match will be played at New Road, Worcester. The last WODI at the venue saw India cruise to a target of 220 with 21 balls remaining in July of this year. The venue is suited for both Pacers and Spinners alike. While the bowling team won four matches while chasing the score.
England Women put in a good performance in the opening WODI on Thursday when they won by 30 runs in Bristol. However, it was far from a perfect batting performance with the number 4, 5, and 6 batters contributing only 9 runs in total for the side. Fortunately, captain Heather Knight hit 89 with Tammy Beaumont (44) and Katherine Brunt (43) also making useful contributions.
With the ball, all six bowlers took wickets with Nat Sciver the most impressive with figures of 2-10 from 5 overs. Sophie Ecclestone also impressed taking 2-39 with the wickets of Katey Martin and Brooke Halliday coming in the same over. England will be very confident coming into the second ODI.

Six New Zealand Women players made single-figure scores in their total of 211 all out chasing 242 for victory. Amy Satterthwaite stood out with the bat, top-scoring and making an unbeaten 79 from 87 balls. Captain Sophie Devine (34) and Lea Tahuhu (25) also hit useful runs.
In the field, Amy Satterthwaite was the only bowler not to pick up a wicket with the other five bowlers all picking up wickets. Jess Kerr stood out with the ball, taking 3-42 from 9.3 overs and picking up the wickets of Sophia Dunkley, Katherine Brunt, and Charlie Dean. The team performance can be used as a foundation for a competitive series.

Both the teams are competent enough to turn the game anytime. With England winning the 1st game, New Zealand will try to make this win to their side and make this series come to equal level on 1-1. But for some lusty lower-order hitting from New Zealand Women, the winning margin would have been far greater for England Women in the opening WODI. We expect this game to be a bit closer but England Women to come out on top again.
